Special Events Station W0L St. Louis

83rd Anniversary "The Spirit of St Louis" May 1927 - May 2010

I worked another Special Events station over the weekend. Station W0L from St. Louis MO. The St Louis and Suburban Radio Club was / is operating a special events station celebrating the 83rd Anniversary of Charles Lindbergh leaving St Louis Lambert Field (Now St. Louis International Airport) on May 12, 1927 enroute to New York Curtis Field, the last stop before arriving in Paris, France. His Plane was called "The Spirit of St Louis".

The Log Entry:

Callsign Date UTC Name QTH Band Mode Rst
KC7CPM 05/09/10 1339 BILL COLORADO 40 SSB 59

What's cool about this Special Events station is that you can get an instant QSL Certificate. It takes a few minutes, but the operator uploads the QSO log which you then can search. I searched for my call sign and found the Log Entry. Then you can actually print a certificate.
